FIELDS OF STUDY
I am a Mexican Cosmologist working on the study of the Large-Scale Structure of the Universe. My main interest is to understand how baryons structured the intergalactic medium, particularly one billion years after the Big Bang, and to understand the contribution of these baryons to the evolution of galaxies.
I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Royal Observatory of Edinburgh and the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. I am part of the Theoretical and Computational Astrophysics group in the Institute for Astronomy at the University of Edinburgh. I completed my PhD in cosmology at University College London (UCL). I did my MSc in Astrophysics & BSc in Physics at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in Mexico City.
